Will lights be used during our wedding?

We use the latest cameras that are more than capable of low-light recording. Thus lights are not needed in most situations.

We will ask you about the venues and we will then determine whether or not we require lights.

Do you attend our rehearsal?

Yes, we are more than happy to join you to at least one rehearsal.

This will allow us to determine the optimum placement of cameras in relation to where you will be standing.

We are on a tight budget, do you have any cheaper packages?

We can offer you other cheaper packages than the ones listed. For example if you only require filming at the ceremony for 2 hours this can be arranged. From $350, depending upon location.

How long will it take to finish our video?

It takes 1 - 2 months to complete depending on the season and the package selected.

What will our personal webpage address be

This is included for free when we film your video. It is a secret address on the internet where you can share your video and pictures with family and friends. If your names are Tom and Anna it will be something like TomAndAnnas.katstudios.com.au.

Can we select the music we want in our wedding video?

Yes. It is important that you select the music you want in the video prior to the wedding. We keep the scenes tuned in with the beat of the music so it is important we have the music before we begin editing. Alternatively we can select the music.

What is a highlights DVD?

This is a short version video of your wedding. You receive this so you can show your guests who will for example visit you at home in the future. This usually runs from 15 to 30 minutes depending on the package selected. We are flexible with the length.

How long will our main final video be?

This depends on the package. We keep them from 1.5 hours to 3.5 hours long. You tell us if you want it shorter.

How many memory sticks in total do I receive?

This depends upon the package selected. You will receive from 2 to 10 copies if you want.

Do you offer photography as well? We've seen that you provide a photo CD of high quality pictures.

We film in High Definition. We capture still video images from this source. You should be able to develop these pictures at any photo store or print them on a color printer at home and store them in your photo album.

They can also satisfactorily printed as A4 size. Email us for some samples. You will generally receive 100-600 pictures depending upon the package.

Do you work with the photographer?

Yes. Any pictures your photographer takes we take. We don't however setup shots we leave that to the photographer. However we try and be creative and artistic when possible. We film you wedding day as it is! We capture the atmosphere of the day.
